This is some of my collection of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recordings from the last few years, a few have also been professionally analysed.

I am specialising and experimenting in EVP work and the study of this phenomena.

I also have a small Facebook group dedicated to the study of EVP for likeminded investigators.

Iron Works - Mells/ Great Elm

A return to the same spot as my capture from 6th October, see below

I stood in the same spot and asked the same questions again about the land and the family who owned the Iron Works and had the same word (Fussell/s) come through on the recording again..

I didn't notice this one at first until I was going over old audio files on my recorder to delete and discovered this possible voice.

Nunney Castle - Nunney - Somerset

This is a compilation of the three possible female voices captured on two different occasions within a month of each other.

All in the same ruined turret.

I have made many visits to the castle over the years, most times conducting short EVP burst sessions and have never had a female voice come through only a few male, now there are three 'voices'

Is it the same person? or three different females, the tone sounds similar, like a younger female.

The last one is particularly chilling as it repeats back my name after I have introduced myself..

Further research into the females of the castle is important now, it has spent most of its life empty after being ruined in the late 1600's

On our next visit, I will tailor all my questions towards trying to identify the female or females..

Nunney Castle - Nunney - Somerset

A few weeks ago I picked up two potentially female voices in one of the empty turrets.

On this occasion I was in the same turret and picked up this...

I had just told 'them' my name and said it would be nice to give them a voice so they would be able to speak

Explaining why I am attempting to communicate..

With a direct intelligent response after I speak.

I also felt nauseous at this point and asked 'them' to step back away from me, noted on the recording later on, around the time of this capture..

Now what is intriguing is whether it is potentially the same female or several, so research into the females of the castle is a must and next time we go I will tailor all the questions towards this..

Iron Works - Mells/ Great Elm

My latest capture, from a place which I had an interesting male voice a few years ago (see further down the page)

I am just stood by the side of the old Fussells iron works at Mells, in a wooded bit and just asking questions about the old works and the owners, I didn't expect to have captured anything, but I found this..

It seems pretty clear to me what is being said, in a male voice.

There was noise from the stream by the side, but I have cleaned it up a bit with noise reduction..

There may also be something else first, after I speak, then the word is said at 4 seconds.

The ghost of a male, said to be the owner has been reported to have been seen in the area.

As always, headphones/ ear buds are a must..

Nunney Castle - Nunney Somerset #2

This is a possible woman's voice responding to my question about whether witches were tried there.

It sounds like an intelligent response saying - 'Don't Know' or 'I don't know'

History on the castle says this is possible as the Somerset Witchfinder came through the village in the 1600's and trials were held there although no actual executions, that happened at Taunton.

Nunney Castle - Nunney #1

I haven't really captured very much here over the years, but I keep plugging away at it, and yesterday it finally paid off, as I captured 3 possible 'voice' responses, all intelligent replies to my questions.

This one is pretty self explanatory really and I missed it on my initial review.

Asking if they wish to communicate, with an intelligent and resounding 'NO'

I have a feeling that this could be the original owner of the castle, who people say or feel is still around as maybe the guardian of the nearly 700 year old ruins...

I also picked up two possible female voices too, see separate video.

The Ancient Porch - Somerset - A Mans Voice?

Another potential capture from this fantastic place.

I was just asking questions as usual and found this on the recording.

Ignore the birds and background noise.

After cleaning it up and slowing slightly I can hear the words 'His Voice' as is usual with EVP captures, they don't always make sense or appear to have any relevance at the time, but it has the characteristic sound of a disembodied voice.

There is another one captured a few minutes before, which I will upload shortly after its analysis.

The Ancient Porch - Somerset

This is a very faint EVP captured in my usual spot, with this one I actually heard something to my left, as I was facing the door, and I remark on this on the full recording.

I am afraid its had to be cleaned up a bit and amplified, but there is definitely a little voice in there, I think its saying something about the Door? then a little 'Hmm' a little after.

Can you work out whats being said ?

The Ancient Porch - Somerset

This Class B EVP was captured at the same place where I have caught a lot of my best EVP.

This time I was trying an experiment, as seen on Destination Fear where I was showing symbols on cards and writing names and words in a pad and asking if any 'spirits' could tell me what they were etc.. either on the digital recorder or using one of the Ghost Apps I was running as an experiment.

The 'voice' is also captured on my Canon Powershot Camera which was recording the session too.

There was nothing corresponding, but it was a fun experiment and I managed to get this result anyway.

7th July 2022

This Class 3 EVP recording was captured on a lane adjacent to a battle site, the lane in question was said to run with blood from the battle.

The battle was during the Monmouth Rebellion in a Somerset Village in 1685 at the end of June.

A response to my question?

I think its possibly saying Yes?

Not really a response to a question, I was chatting about the something in the woods and this voice? anomaly pops in towards the end at 6 seconds.

Very faint, but sounds like 'Wrong' or 'Bong'

Location - Some ruins, possibly a mill, somewhere in Somerset..

The recorder was placed on one of the walls of the building.

It may not sound like much as the capture is just under my voice, but after being analysed it is very clear.

Its a male voice and a Class B EVP.

No idea what is being said..

Fussells Iron Works - Mells.. Somerset

I just came across this, I was making short videos of the location for the team and found this possible evp (at 10 seconds) on the video recording

Recorded on a Canon Powershot Camera

This clip has been very kindly analysed by Tony Hayes of Paranormal Investigations UK and there is a male voice there, as shown on the frequency charts, we are unsure of exactly what is being said, but it is an EVP, although not necessarily automatically audible to human ears, but when put through software and cleaned up, it is very clear to hear..

No idea what is being said, or just Uh huh?

Secret Valley in Somerset

The Accidental EVP..
This is an EVP which I captured by accident really, its one of two, as I discovered another about 10 seconds before ( see below) I wasn't asking out as the area we were in had a bit of a dodgy history to it, we were just walking away from the area and I was about to finish recording..
I had just done a few little videos of a place for my private group..
This was out in a field, in the afternoon, approx 3.45pm ish..
I was pretty shocked to hear it, as I fully expected not to capture anything.
You will hear me, then the voice, then me again..

Its a Class A capture, I can hear 'Thank you' in an old ladies voice.

The Swearing Man - Nunney Castle - Nunney - Somerset

This was picked up last year in the back right turret of Nunney Castle - Nunney.

I have amplified it and slowed it down a little.. its the second voice you hear.

It sounds to me like a male saying F*** me

It has since been analysed by Tony Hayes of Paranormal Investigations UK.

NB - Not everyone hears the same thing, some people may hear nothing at all, others will, as with all suspected paranormal captures, they are open to interpretations and further scientific research and analysis.

December 2020 - Undisclosed Location - Somerset

This voice was picked up after my partner had asked a question about something that had occurred earlier that afternoon.

I feel it is a child's voice, saying 'Thank you' the noise afterwards I believe is some kind of static crack anomaly we seem to find on recordings
